I can sing anything sweeter than you.” Well in this case it doesn’t matter, as all voices are welcome to Sing Miami, Saturday, November 1, 2014 – 1:00PM at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Join the youth of the Miami Children’s Chorus as they guide you in singing folk songs, patriotic songs and more. ABOUT THE MIAMI CHILDREN’S CHORUS
The Miami Children’s Chorus is a not-for-profit community arts organization specializing in choral music education and performance for children age 8-18 in Miami-Dade County. In three levels of ensemble – beginning, intermediate and advanced – MCC provides weekly rehearsals where children practice the life-long skills of commitment, respect for self and others, and the rewards of a dedicated effort while learning the skills and techniques necessary for healthy vocal production, musicianship and artistry.
This project of the Miami Children’s Chorus is supported in part by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners; the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County; the Charles and Joan Hermanowski Foundation and Symphonettes.
