“Defying Gravity” supports the growing vision of the Miami Children’s Chorus, an organization that has worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for young people to develop as artists and individuals who can make positive impacts on our future!
We are hoping this year’s event will be a tremendous success, raising $40,000 for our choral music education and performance program. MCC’s programs foster a spirit of belonging and a drive for excellence that instills confidence in youth - a confidence that permeates onto all parts of their lives and has lasting and significant impacts on their futures. Youth, ages 8-22, meet weekly to learn the necessary skills to be practicing and professional musicians, but also important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and commitment.
Their artistry will be on full display as they sing songs from the beloved musical "Wicked" while you enjoy cocktails a silent auction, and dinner buffet.
