Meredith Kane
Meredith Kane is a lifelong musician, choral conductor, and music educator who has had the joy of working with singers and students of all ages—from preschoolers to adults. With more than two decades of experience, she has taught in public and private schools and led choral programs in school, church, and community settings. Her experience includes directing elementary, middle, and high school choirs; a 40-member adult choir; and musical theater productions. She currently teaches general music to students ages 3–14 and directs four choirs, giving her a unique perspective on the musical and developmental needs of singers at every stage.
Mrs. Kane holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting and a Bachelor of Music Education with a choral emphasis from the University of South Carolina. As a graduate student, she studied conducting under the baton of Larry Wyatt and Carol Krueger. In 2008 she received National Board Certification in Music for grades 7-12. She is recognized for strong instructional delivery, the development of musical literacy and independent musicianship, and the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and varying needs. As both a conductor and proficient piano accompanist, she brings a combination of musical expertise, organizational leadership, and a genuine commitment to helping young musicians grow.
