Sophia Miller
Sophia Miller is a conductor, clinician, singer, songleader, and music educator based in New York City. She is celebrated for her skillful leadership, her joyfully collaborative spirit, and her playful and heart-forward approach to making music.
Sophia has served as a conductor and artistic leader with the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, the Boston Children’s Chorus, and the Savannah Children’s Choir, nurturing singers ages 8 to 18 in their growth as artists and individuals. She has conducted All-State choirs in over 20 states at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as dozens of local and regional choral festivals. In 2024, she was honored to conduct the ACDA Eastern Region Elementary Honor Choir.
Sophia is a long time member of the MCC community and we are so grateful to her for stepping into the role of Interim Executive Artistic Director.
