Welcome to The Stories We Tell.
We are each made of so many stories – small stories, sacred stories, stories inherited, stories chosen, stories still unfolding. For 60 years, Miami Children’s Chorus has been a place where young voices have gathered not only to sing, but to become part of a shared story – one shaped by courage, growth, friendship, memories, and song.
Tonight, we honor the individual journeys that built MCC, and that bring each singer to this stage – including and especially the stories of our graduating seniors – and the collective story we create when our voices rise together.
About the MCC
MCC is proud to be a part of the founding fabric of youth cultural programming in Miami-Dade County. This year, we are proud to be celebrating 60 years of offering a quality choral music education and performance program to South Florida youth. Since our foundation six decades ago, we have grown our initiatives beyond choral concerts to include community programs and events, a new music commissioning program, recording, touring around the world, appearing on national television, and even a virtual choir series!
